To solve the antenna and the reception problems that have dogged the iPhone 4, rumors of a built-in rubber bumper on the iPhone 5 will "fix" the problem.
But what if I do not want that stupid bumper?!
Whenever I am critical of Apple, Steve Jobs, the iPhone 4 or the iPhone, the Apple fans always come out the woodwork and want to tar and feather me. So let me be clear: I am in the Apple cult, too. Nothing but Macs and iPhones in this household, baby. So, my criticism of Apple is nothing more than tough love for the coolest technology on Earth.
Now that's out of the way, let's talk about this 'bumper'.
I do not like the bumper. I do not want the bumper on my iPhone 4. I would not put the calls are not dropping.
I hate the bumper. I yell at it from time to time. Chewing. It brings out the worst in me.

The iPhone 5 Compendium: A complete list of iPhone rumors five features to date
The technical community is prognosticating about the five functions of the iPhone since the iPhone made its debut in April in the summer of 2010. Here's a quick but thorough list of alleged features that might very well end up on the iPhone 5.
Do a quick overview of the articles here at iPhone News Blog 5 and you begin to realize that there is a new virtual number, possible functions that may be coming to the iPhone 5. The list is amazing! For as much as we would like to see most of these functions are on the iPhone 5, which is simply not the case: as the saying goes, you can please some of the people some of the time, and all the people some of time, but never all the people all the time.

What we have done here is listed what we've heard about the iPhone for 5, and give our opinion on both the coolness factor (how much of a "wow" will cause the iPhone's announcement in May) and the probability factor that a function will end on the iPhone 5.
